Iron sculptures by artist Jim Dehne are proving quite popular in Edina. After winning Public Art Edina people’s choice award for “Three Dancing Sandhill Cranes”—purchased by the city in 2015 and currently located in the new water feature on the Promenade—Dehne’s work won again in 2016.

When most people think of winter sports, their minds usually go to hockey, skiing or even indoor basketball. For Kellen Chapuran, however, winter means snocross season. Kellen’s father, Mike, used to race snowmobiles back in his early 20s and had always hoped his son would want to race, too.

Being single doesn’t mean you should single yourself out from having pretty flowers to display in your home or office. Ann Backman, owner of Spruce Flowers and Home, says, “My idea for singles is to sign up for one of our flower arranging classes.

 

The newest addition to the Town Hall legacy will open soon near the Pamela Park and Concord neighborhoods in Edina. Pete Rifakes, co-owner of the Town Hall businesses, decided that opening a location at the old Wally’s Gas Station on Valley View Road would be the perfect place to expand.
